It is truly an honor to represent the Elizabethtown Noon Rotary as the 2017-2018 Rotary President. I have spent the past few months reflecting on what Rotary means to me and what it means to the community. This caused me to recall my very fist encounter with this esteemed group. I was a senior in High School and I was being recognized as the student of month. I wish I could have found my speech from then, maybe my 17 year old self would have had a few pointers to share. I would like think that I said something about being a part of the Rotary Club because what this group stands for are the core values that my family has bestowed upon me. One thing that did stand out from the membership was the strong passion and dedication to the future of the community. It seems after all these years, that passion still has a strong heartbeat. I discovered that I had an elite group of people that were working to make changes in the lives of others every day. From small community projects to our international service-it is truly amazing! As we take this year’s journey together know that you are a great group of individuals that have stepped up to support and help make this club the very best. Looking forward to a great year.
Yours in Rotary Service,
